The Problem with the Ram fuel fill is the neck on the fill tube bends to quick and causes the fuel to shut off. If you hold the nozzle up high against the top of the tube and then start filling it will not shut off. The problem is you have to hold it while it is filling . I have the same issue with my 2017 2500 and had the same with my 2009 3500.

"Quirks" I've noticed after driving my new '20 for a couple weeks.

As others have stated brake pedal feel could be improved just not as firm as I feel they could/should be. Not super worried about it but will mention it when at my first dealer visit. I Will probably switch to a high quality pad like powerstop and see if that helps but I don't see them available for '20's yet. Truck also requires increased effort to hold back in 4L as mentioned.

A/C performance could be better if you ask me. Air output volume sucks. Blower speeds 1-3 are pretty useless. I will say I have been using the auto function and I seem to be fiddling with it less and it actually had me chilled the other day. (In Texas)

I thought the steering wheel was off center but once i found a nice flat road the wheel is straight and the truck tracks as well as I expect it to.

That's all I've noticed so far and they seem to be common gripes.

I agree with the brake pedal but 30,000 miles later I’ve gotten use to the amount of pressure it requires. But when I drive my wife’s Tahoe, I almost put everyone through the front windshield at the first stop sign until I get used to how sensitive it is. As far as the AC, my Dodges never blow as cold as other brands. Think the OP will do fine with the AC in MT if mine is adequate for south AL.

Braking sensitivity changed quite a lot between 2018 and 2019.

Mine with 37" still brakes more easily than my dads 2018 with 34".

And I lost a bunch of braking with those tires.

One time my radio kept going up in volume on its own. Restarted the truck and everything has been fine since.

Happens all the time while doing a brake stand, auto volume kicks in.

Just close the radio before a brake stand and you'll be all set.

The blue one is a very good price. I thought the front camera was standard?

It does have the camera. My error. It is an 8 hour drive one way. Hmmm

8 hours there and 8 hours back in your new Power Wagon lol

The towing technology package with the front and side cameras is the one option I really wish my truck had. I couldn't find one without the ramboxes or sunroof that I didn't want that had the cameras and I didn't have the patience to order one hehe

When I bought my ‘19 I test drove an ‘18 2500 with the Cummins back to back. I don’t know whether they improved the brakes for the 19 model or if the added weight of the diesel made the difference, but the diesel felt like I really had to push the brake pedal really hard to make anything happen. My PW feels very normal and adequate as far as brake pedal feel.

Considering the CTD weighs an extra 1000 lbs over the gasser, the braking is going to be different. They both use the same brake pads, rotors, etc.
Drop 1000 lbs in the bed and see if brakes feel the same.

No doubt the ride back in a new truck would make the time fly by. I would hate to make the drive there and get the shaft from the dealer.

If we were not living in times of the Bat Flu, I would just order one but who knows when they would go back to making and delivering new trucks.

For what’s it worth I did all the back and forth negotiating over the phone and via email and played two dealers off of each other to get a little better price on the truck I really wanted. (Only difference was color) Both dealers were happy to but the one I bought from delivered the truck to me from 2 hours away wearing gloves and a mask and disinfected the truck before I touched it.
I inspected it and drove it before I signed the paperwork. Never set foot in the dealership. Although I had already test driven a Power Wagon before the lockdown. I was planning on buying a truck before all this so I wasn’t gonna let the ‘Rona stop me.

I exanged a ram 1500 '17 outorsman and a 2500 promaster '14 for the PW.

All was done by phone and e-mail.
They sent 2 guys to drop the PW and pick up the 2 trucks 4.5 hours away.
( I really wanted ram boxes )

Best buying experience so far.
( Out of 6 brand new )

This truck had me do the numbers against mine to see if I should get into a 2020. Unfortunately with the New 20 PW selling for cheaper than the 19s did, I lost value in my 19.(KBB) So I have to stay put for now. But... if I was you, I would make the deal and the drive. That is a sweet deal just has it sits. I like road trips though. If you look at my thread back in September, I took my new Wagon on a 3k mile tour with my family and documented the whole trip. It was a blast. Next trip is Moab September 2020. It is an 20 hour drive.
Good luck. I hope it works out.

Thanks for all the responses guys and gals! I bought one yesterday and am happy with the truck and the way the dealer treated me. I'll open a new thread on it. Regarding the gas fill up originally mentioned, it is not a quirk with mine, whew!
