Hello, question for you guys...how many of you guys are replacing your stock wheels with aftermarket wheels and what are you doing with your old factory take offs ? I have been watching my local market in the pacific northwest and cant really seem to find many ? But I feel like every time I see a power wagon , it has aftermarket wheels. Where are they all going ? Do you guy sell or just give them to the tire shop ?

i don't know about everyone else, but my factory rims are always used for my winter tires and aftermarkets for my summers.i've always run at least 2 sets of tires on every one of my trucks because there is no such thing as a do all tire.

I run my aftermarket year round and sold the oem ones. I figure I'm spending that kind of money on wheels I want them to be on. I sold my wheels for 700 which personally is a steal.

If you don't mind me asking, did it include tires ? How much did you sell them for ?

Did yours include tires ??

Reason I ask is there is a new set of take offs with factory Goodyear Duratrac tires a little north of me for $1800. I believe they have less than 5000 miles on them...

nope that was just rims. I think that's a bit spendy personally but if you really like the wheels they are hard to come by.

You near the border?

Not really :) I am in Portland Oregon so much closer to the Or/Wa border than the OR/CA border. Which one were you referring to ?

I agree. There was a set listed a few weeks ago for 4 wheels and Duratrac tires for $1100 but those are gone now... The only other set is the virtually brand new set but they have been listed for 3 weeks. I was thinking they would probably be worth $1200 ? That is basically like paying for tires and getting free wheels ?

Ohk. You’re much further then up then. I’m looking to purchase aftermarket wheels but trying to wear out the duratracs first. I have the off-road package wheels that come with 75th anniversary.

yeah the Bead lock capable ones would probably bring better money.

When you get ready...send me a pm. I am looking for a good set for my 2006 2500 and still have a bit of time before I have to find something. I am just trying to feel out the market and get a sense of things. I am still looking and would hop on a good deal if I found one!

Agreed on that front...I am looking for either style at this point in my area of Oregon.

Here is a non bead lock set near me that is the set I mentioned up thread...I feel it is slightly overpriced and would be on it for $1200...

There is a set just like the Black ones you have listed in Oregon City Or. for 1000 OBO. Wheels and Tires. Also a set in Ridgefield Wa. 850.

yeah black ones are more rare. 1000 would be a pretty fair offer. the tires are around 300 new. depending on mileage and condition of the wheels and tires. I dunno maybe 1200 because they are black.

I think you may be referring to the 20" night edition wheels ?? There are 2 sets listed with tires but I want these Power wagon 18" wheels. I like the look of more tire and less wheel.
