Has anyone else done this? I live in Canada and they use tons of sand and salt on the winter roads. It causes death by rust eventually. There was already lots of grit and sand trapped behind the fender flares so I took them off for now. I think it looks alright and hopefully it will help in the long run!

Agreed, I wish they did a better job of sealing out the elements from the factory. there was so much crap trapped in behind them. I will have to seal them up better.

Just got this 2024 and added some Method 704HD Rims and the new 35" BFG K03's. I also put a 35" BFG on the spare rim and got it to fit under there.

How long did it take to remove the flares?..ive got the oem flaps on my 21 too...assume I'm due to clean out...thx

How you liking those tires? Ive got around 40k on mine and they are definitely getting there haaa. This winter wont be very fun lol

Pretty easy to remove. some screws and two sided thin foam tape. Just peel off slowly in a warm place. Then use a solvent to remove glue residue. Probably 15 min. each to remove.

So far they are working well. Not sure how many miles I will get out of these. I usually only run tires down to 1/2 of the original tire tread depth before replacing…. They seem to grip well on the rocks and have done well in the mud holes I have went through so far. Balancing them is a bit of a challenge. A lot of tire shops can’t handle larger than a 37” on their balancing machine.

Did you have to do anything special to get your new tire to fit in the spare tire well? Have heard that some had to trim the heat shield. Thanks!
