Bought my first 2020 Maximum Steel PW in May. Found a dealership near me that was going after some ram sales incentives during Covid and had a bunch of 2500s just sitting on the lot. They were willing to move huge on price For the sale so a great time to buy. Have towed our travel trailer with it and taken it wheeling a few times (nothing crazy). So far I’m just in love with the truck. So capable and versatile. Can’t wait to explore more roads less travelled here in the PNW.

Great looking truck! Can you tell me the specs of your TT? I'm back and forth between a PW and a "standard" 2500.

sure. It’s a 26’ Jay Flight and has a dry weight of 5600 lbs and a gross rating of 7000 lbs. we have a family of three so we still have a bit of room left on payload.

I have a WD Hitch which is a must for the PW in my opinion just to be sure the truck is sitting level while towing.

Towed it up and over the mountains here in WA state with no problems. Had the hemi going hard on some climbs but that’s where she makes the power.

It’s not a towing rig by any means but for the 2-3 times a year I tow the trailer it does just fine.

Looks good man. Are these 12.5 wide?

So question for all you PW guys. Is a 35x12.5 the max you can fit. On stock wheels, with stock suspension?

I've been looking at those AEV katla wheels. Would this difference in offset change anything?

@LeesEvoX Yes they are 35x12.50x17. From what others have post, 35 are as large as you can go without rubbing. 37 will fit but will need to trim.

ahh bummer. im not opposed to trimming. but dont want to start trimming metal like i have seen behind the front wheels.

but if 35x12.5 is the concensus of max on a stock truck, i dont see the point in getting those Katla wheels lol

Meh it’s not as big of a job as it seems. I did it in an hour or two. If you offroad and flex a lot it’s a good idea anyway.

My King 2.5s finally came in on Wednesday covid delayed them quite a bit, took 3 months and 2 days but who was counting[emoji38]

Everything was pretty straight forward on the install, no issues whatsoever. I gotta say its like driving an entirely new truck and that was just a quick spin around the block. I had some off the shelf Fox's previously and they caused quite a bit of the "boat sway"as I like to call it bc they just weren't valved properly for a PW...gone completely gone. This is hands down the best mod I've done. Wish I would've done them alot sooner. I'll get more pics tmmrw in the daylight. Alignment will be on Monday just to make sure all is copesetic.40469bec724606f07d39c34adf7fdf44.jpg3b4c70c19710809f57d4a211473cdbf6.jpgb1db439b1d647376d2d198339e92239f.jpgb537553d3723cf2a8ccc8424a2967bc8.jpg

Nice, can't wait to get mine on. Got them last week. Glad to hear they are worth the wait. I got a full kit minus the rear springs.
I just noticed yesterday that CJC offroad makes a shock guard that protects the bottom edge.

Maybe not FULL responsibility lol
Is that a wire ripped out of that connector?

I think I would be getting those plastic loners reinstalled!
No, it was a dried up piece of grass. Liners went back on right after I was done taking that pic. It was just to document what I did to clearance the 37’s a little better, I got rubbing at full flex offroad.
