Me and the wife have been at the beach every weekend for the past couple months.

Although the gulf of mexico and oil rigs on the horizon might not be as nice as the outer banks hahah.... I'll still take it.

Nothing better to de stress IMO. Just sittin in the wind listening to the ocean4cbe824e4bdb18c5e3afb9016fd78fc4.jpg

Can't beat taking the truck out on the beach no matter what beach. Mines not completely stress free though with a 15 month old tearing around [emoji38]

Take the ferry And drive 8-10 miles before you turn right on to the beach.

Bring recovery gear and be prepared to make a bunch of money (or friends). A ton of peps getting stuck on the deep loose sand. You can pull all kinds of vehicles out of the sand.

And next time you do the burn out, do all 4 tires. Then try 2 wheel with the brake engaged and the wheel turned hard, But don’t hold it for too long or you will be one of those idiots I have to pull out of the sand because you dug too deep of a hole. (I will give you a PW discount ;) )

Ahh ok. I guess you hang out before crystal, and Mcfaddin beach then. I might have to trek down there to see if it's any better.

We normally hang out by where the lost hey 87 is. I think it's a bit further up the 87.

Oh, and the burnout video was the wife. Cut her (and my poor truck) some slack! Haha

If you go out there alone, bring a land anchor. Or traction boards. It would be embarrassing to call for a tow.

plenty of sand to find out if “POWER WAGON DONT CARE”

let me tell you, it does you can sink that 8600lb truck and it will be a monument for the rest of us to stop and take pictures of.
Good luck!

I'll be airing it down to 18-20 lbs in Ocracoke OBX on Aug 9th. 18-20 lbs is the magic number on the Toyo MTs to get the right bulge and stay out of trouble. I already run 35 in the rear normally. 30 wouldn't cut it. I rented a 24' Carolina Skiff to run the sound and inlets when I'm not taking the wagon on the sand. I get a house with a dock to park the boat for the week. It will be interesting to see the condition of Ocracoke after hurricane Dorian put a hurt on it last year. A lot of original house and businesses got flooded that never previously flooded when the Pamlico Sound decided to run a 6 ft wall of water into town Tsunami style.

I have the factory 33" duratracs on mine. I put the front down to 30 one time and the truck felt horrible.

Turning in 4wd the truck would hop and jump, trying to pull the steering wheel back straight. (And no, I didnt have the diffs locked) lol

Yeah, hear that about the "Duracraps". The Toyos are a totally different game. They take a quite a bit of airing down to get them to flex. I run 45 front and 35 rear on the street, and could arguably go lower in the back according to the chalk test.

I helped pull out a stuck 1500 today. He wasn't very deep quick yank got him out. Guy didn't air down, told him I always take mine down to 18-20psi. I told him he probably could self recover with my traction boards and a air down. Don't know think he was super confident about driving on the sand.16acb618d041338ea03177b354b9924c.jpg
