My cousin is in the process of building a '72 Power Wagon for his daughter. Does anyone know a good forum to research these trucks? His truck has 6 bolt wheels, but the '75 he bought to replace the frame has 5 bolt wheels (only came with the front axle). Where these trucks offered with 6 bolt wheels, or did someone replace the axles at some point?

Dodge trucks of the era had passenger side driveshaft anf Chevies had drivers side.

They may have replaced the transfer case and axles

Fwiw, Chevy 6-bolt is 6x5.5".

There is an old 'big' 6-lug found on some heavy dodges, like motorhomes and 400-600 series trucks. These would be dually too. I estimate the bolt circle is about 7 or 7.5".

We never measured the bolt pattern. I would guess they are 6 x 5.5, but I don't have access to the truck to check. If the axles are in good shape I think we are going to use them. They do have Warn locking hubs on the front, so that's a plus. Thank you for the insight. I know this is kind of off topic for in here.

This is what we are working with.Screen Shot 2021-05-05 at 6.33.04 PM.png

I can't see the lugs/wheels clearly in the background, but it looks size-comparable to the dodge hub. Likely the chevy 1/2-ton diff. I see it has the fulltime slugs in it. Unlocking the hubs isn't the best with a fulltime tcase.

That is the only picture I have. I'll have to ask my cousin for more later.

... This is just a 3rd thought . I was in Mexico Once & saw a 1981+ Bronco Just like I had at home on my farm. But as I looked closer . IT HAD 6 HOLE WHEELS ON IT .
& iT WAS A 3 DOOR BRONCO.
Really neat truck .. One regular door on pass side but the Driver side had a regular driver side door & A Small door to enter the back seat from driver side..
Man I'd love to have one of those . So Someone may have driven one up from Mexico
... That's just slightly different .
