The 0FG Exhaust:

4thGen_Play.jpg

The 0FG is a 3” T304L stainless steel catback configuration featuring AWE’s patented drone-canceling 180 Technology®. Together, combined with precision fitment, class-leading rigidity, and tailored tip options for all bumper variations, you’re looking at the Best Sounding Exhaust on the Planet™ for the 4th Gen RAM.

American-sourced T304L stainless steel with a wall thickness of .065” runs smoothly from front to back, connecting right after the factory emissions equipment. After exiting the 180 Technology® resonator, the exhaust either stays the course as a single route, or splits into dual 3” piping up to the tips.

Perfect tone, compliments of AWE 180 Technology®.

Keeping the aggression at the rear of the RAM, and out of the cabin, is AWE’s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®.

As exhaust gases exit the 5.7L engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology® equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers. Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers.

By controlling the size and location of the ports and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies.

Bumpers and Tip Options:

Flat bumpers: drivers have the option of two exhaust configurations to accommodate their flat bumper.
  • Single passenger-side-exit, dual 4.5” double-walled slash-cut tips in diamond black or chrome silver
  • Dual rear-exit, 5” double-walled straight-cut tips in diamond black or chrome silver

AWE BashGuard:

The AWE BashGuard comes standard with flat-bumper configurations and is designed to provide drivers who frequently crawl rough terrain peace of mind with a simple conversion that shortens the exhaust, so it ends up and over the rear axle.

Just unbolt the rear section of the exhaust, and pop the included Bash Guard in its place, and you’ve got protection from rocks and the occasional comet.

Tips when you want ‘em, protection when you don’t. Easy.

Sounds good, is the muffler alone available (not entire cat/back system)? If anyone installs this system I would like to hear it and see your review of it.

She thought it was to loud on start up when I passed someone or going up a 4% grade or more
I like it mileage appears better power feels a bit better

I'm such a big fan of this system. I have had it on my truck now for about a month and a half and it still makes me grin ear to ear. Every tone that comes out of it sounds mean as hell. The idle is low and throaty and the pedal to the floor gives an aggressive sporty tone that you've never heard from any other Ram. I will recommend this to anyone.

Do you have any way too quiet this system down a little
The fit and finish is great but wife would like a little less noise when climbing the hill home
If you tow a trailer it may annoy you

I had a Bora exhaust put on my 2014 Dodge Ram Laramie and it really sounds great and I’m thinking about a 4 inch lift kit for the dodge .

I have my AWE 0FG since few days, on the last 250 miles consumes my RAM about 1 Liter more fuel for 100km as before. On same or similar route and at average speed, no load etc. It is according to conversion calculator about from 15,17 MPG down to 14.25 MPG. Somebody has experience and can explain? Probably caused by the better flow of the exhaust gases? Thicker pipe diameter. Ok I accept it, this sound is that worth! - I just want it understand.

I have a 2014 Dodge Ram Laramie and o have 35x20 factory wheels and I’m thinking about putting a 4 inch lift kit on my truck and I know this guy at this shop and a buddy of his will do the 4” lift for 700 dollars so I think that is reasonable what do y’all think?
