When I first bought the truck I could not get the auto-parking-brake feature to work. I stuck with it, and viola, it fixed itself, mostly.

Months and months later, til today the auto-parking-brake feature would not unpark itself with any reliability. I thought I had tried everything, til this morning, after testing it many many times. Buckle up, dummy. Doh!

What did you try in attempts to correct it, not functioning correctly?
And, did you change anything about how you were using the parking brake when it started working properly?

In the UConnect there is a selection that would not stay selected. Then it would for a time, and finally it stays selected and has for many months. Just a gremlin, I figure.

Exactly the problem with my motion activated front camera! Won’t stay selected……..

Yes, the Uconnect are a nightmare filled with unexpected and intermittent gremlins.

I think if we were more sensible, we would just replace the POS and get on with enjoying our trucks. Mine has a couple of quirks, and I plan to upgrade to a proper radio someday.

The key-off power option intermittently resets from my preferred 10 minutes to 0 minutes periodically. That one irritates me.
And my favourite gas station keeps changing to another station. I don't care too much about that.

Have you tried reseating all of the fuses?
I don't know if that's still a feature with 2025+ trucks, but with the 4th gen, they require regular attention as the fuses magically unseat themselves.
