i was looking at toppers and it makes you sick how much they are new

my grandpa paid $1200 for flares molded steps and a nice topper on his F150 a few years ago. The toppers I was looking at were $2000 before paint. WTF

What topper were you looking at? I got mine with removeable front slider, electric lock, and carpet kit for around $1800 installed.
