What’s up guys, so imma get right to it. Just wanna take a second. I was on my way back home from my local Walmart, mind you I have a 99 ram 1500 with the 5.9 auto 4wd. So I had this new Chevy that kept coming up beside me and would pass me and slow down and pass me again and slow down. Didn’t think nothing of it bc I was was young and stupid to at one time. But it rubbed me the wrong way when he looked over at me and asked me to roll my window down and he yelled “dodge is junk” well we stopped at the next red light. So I was like well I looked over at him and said let’s see who is junk and who is not bub. And I don’t know what is wrong with the new 5.3 truck but it was sick as hell. Not only did I get him on take off. But I literally smoke is doors. It was like you threw us truck in reverse when my transmission shifted into 3rd. After that he tried and tried but he just couldn’t catch me not even close. I know guys it’s a truck and trucks ain’t made to race but I had to show a Chevy what a real truck was lol. Sorry y’all I just had to share that first real time I opened the truck up and it really surprised me.

I've been a Mopar fan most of my life, but I just don't get why people feel the need to trash someone else because it's not what they like. I like all cars because I'm a true enthusiast. If someone is faster than me, he likely spent more money than me. I swear, when someone calls another vehicle line 'junk' I just ask them what it's like to be the tallest boy in his third grade class.

Don't mean to hijack your post...I do race, but it's at the track. And while I'm usually one of the only, or very few, that have an older car, I enjoy catching up to modern Mustangs, Corvettes, and even Porsches on the road course. People don't expect it... to see a 1965 Plymouth grille filling their rear view mirror. This pic below is not because he just passed me, it's because I just caught up with his Porsche Cayman GT through 3 turns.

Well I grew up in a moose family and I guess it just wore off on me. Don’t get me wrong there r some nice other truck out there I ain’t trashing him bc hey you win some and you lose some. And I usually don’t race my truck period. But hey he asked for it when he called my truck junk. But hey it’s not what she looks like on the outside that matters. Pop the hood that where the magic is.
People have there own opinions that’s true. We all fight and feud over what brand to have and one to not have but there all the same there is good and bad in all of them. But in my own personal opinion if it don’t have a daimler chrysler sticker on it I won’t have it

Sorry about having to grow up in a "moose" family! LOL... (I know what you meant). And I wasn't referring to you... he called your truck "junk" and I just don't get those attitudes. I'm totally okay if people want to be brand loyal, I just don't get into this whole "my car's better than your car" silliness. I've seen it all, and every argument a Chevy guy has, so can a Ford and Mopar (moose) guy have the same argument. None of them are "junk" otherwise they wouldn't be in business, still.
