I just come into a situation that I thought I would share. I found that one is my remote resi rear shock had no nitrogen. I want sure if I forgot to fill it after doing some work or it leaked. So I charged it and found it to be leaking around the outside of the blue cap. This area is a catch all for dirt, sand and all kinds of stuff. There was so much build up that it had worked it's way past the seal and allowed the nitrogen to leak.

So it would be a good idea to keep an eye on this. I have found that some aerosol can caps fit perfect over the reservoir. I will probably keep mine covered in winter and when irritating after this.

That looks odd. My 2.5 kings don’t look like that on the resi. Weird.

My resi on rear. It’s like sow thing is set wrong on yours. I’d have it checked.

Sorry I probably should explained more. That pic of mine is with the nitrogen discharged and the cap pushed in. All that crud was built up in the little groove I have pointed to in your pic.

Yeah. It I’ve had nitrogen out of my shocks and that cap don’t suck in like that. It’s almost like something sit right Did it pop back up when you put nitro in em? The fact it’s like that could be why you were having loss of nitrogen issue to begin with. Thurne or Carli? I’d contact somebody about it.

It's Thuren. I pushed it down myself. There is a snap ring at the top to hold the cap in. Took the snap ring out and then you are able to pull the cap out. After scraping all the crud of the cylinder and cleaning the cap and oring it seals up fine. Just want people to be aware how much can build up in there and cause issues.

Been a thing lately. We've seen a bunch of King's come from the factory with way out of spec pressures. Good thing is they seem to just be under filled and hold a charge fine once filled correctly. The **** thing is the equipment to do it properly ain't cheap.
