There are a few threads on site , From what I remember (I'm A Old Fart :O so do not remember alot lol ) The puck works ok but you will loose or get low reception in some areas ! I am sure the gear heads will chime in with better info ! Please Update what you do find out and how it works

FYI, there are also 2 mounting styles depending on where the antenna is on the roof... Front Cab mounted has more curve vs rear cab mounted is nearly flat.

Contact forum vendor @AllMoparParts.com and he (Benny) may be able to id the PN you need.

With the connect problem. I have ordered just an fakra connector and a cellar antenna to put in the dash to see if it works instead of me upgrading to the shark fin and having to pull the whole head liner down. Might be an option for you if you downgrade and want to keep your uconnect services. I will let you know what my outcome is with using a separate cellular antenna.

I believe that the shark fin antenna is designed for dual use, satellite radio and GPS, where the flat one's are "single" use.

The puck antenna is GPS & XM (satellite radio). The shark fin is GPS, XM (satellite radio) & Cellular (Uconnect).

I'm interested to hear how this work out. I tried it with a cheap eBay antenna and it did not work at all.

OEM is 50.00 i think but don't want any leaks.....antenna has its own seal but do you think adding silicone or something would be a good idea?

OEM is $50 just for the antenna, then you have to buy a jumper harness and the body harness if you are upgrading to the shark fin. And then pull down the headliner so you can route the new body harness. If you’re down grading all you have to do is switch out the antenna but a lot have reported leaks. Yes it has its own seal but from this forum it doesn’t give a good seal.

Have an update got the 2 pcs in to make the antenna. All you have to do is connect the two together and plug it into your radio. I just set my antenna behind the radio and it’s getting decent reception. The area I live in is a slight dead zone at least for my phone but this antenna picks up the signal very well. I call Uconnect with the assist button on the mirror and talked to someone briefly just to make sure it worked. Lol. The link below is what I ordered off of eBay. Took about 15 days to arrive but working good so far

Few pictures with proof of good signal even LTE

One side of the antenna has double sided sticky tape and the wire is about 9ft(3 meters) so you could run it about anywhere

Interesting. That antenna looks pretty much just like the one I got, except the one I got had the Fakra-D connector on it directly and was listed as a 3G antenna. The other difference is that I have an RA4 radio as opposed to the UAx type that you appear have. I'm pretty certain that the RA3/4 is a 2G or 3G connection unlike the 4G connection on the UAS/Q radios. I might give it another shot with the one you got and see if it works any better. If I do, I'll post the results.
