For those with the bigger trailers, what tires are you towing with? Stock or have any of you made the switch to the 37's? What load rating?

I'm going to be getting a Power Wagon in the next 18 months....and will be pulling a small off road camping trailer.

The OP linked the Opus 15....I've been looking at the Opus OP 4 or a Boreas XT. Both are 4,000lbs or less.

The Opus Air 4 is a pop up style (air inflated) with great off road capabilities.

Shouldn't be an issue for the PW.

I really like the Black Series HQ19.

How do these compare in price to the R-pods? I've had my eye on a R-pod ever since they came out. Would be perfect for me and wife and our dog or me and a good buddy on a public land hunt somewhere out of state. This Black Series definitely looks a heck of a lot better.

The Black Series trailers and made in Australia and imported. They are one on the few trailers that are designed from the ground up for off-road use.

Legit. I don't see the option for a E rated 37 KM3. 37 KM3's is what I was going to go with, however I can't find them in a E rating...suggestions?
I did not think they had an E rated neither. Zooming in on @Udy2554 pic, it looks like a “C”.

I run Toyos. Pretty popular for a PW.

If you are going to tow a lot, stick with 35's. If you go to 37's, you are going to loose a lot of torque for towing - unless you regear the backend. If you are doing mostly off road, then 37's are the way to go.

Here is my stock 2020 (stock tires, stock suspension, no bags) pulling a 40' TT with a dry weight of 8,840lbs. The key is to get the WDH set up correctly. This does more for a correct ride than air bags. Air bags will put more weight on the rear axle and actually take weight off the front axle. Using a WHD set up correctly puts more weight back on the front axle and on the trailer axle. Air bags should be used as a supplement only after the WHD is set correctly.

This is legit. Which WDH are you running...? As far as towing a trailer, it would be a few times a year. Would probably be more off roading then towing. If I go 37's, I'll be re-gearing for sure.

Whats the weight point that a WDH would be needed? Any thoughts?

Over 500lbs tongue weight 5000 lb trailer weight with a 1500.

I actually believe WDH companies say 500 and up for all campers.

I have the EAZ-LIFT Recurve R6. It took me a while to set up correctly (lots of testing/adjusting/testing/adjusting), and I have the tilt almost all the way down on the ball, but it is almost level. I think I actually need a little bit longer drop shank. With just a little more drop I think I can put just a little more tension on the bars while getting the trailer exactly level.
