I am wondering and hoping that someone on here can help me out with employee pricing
I’m spending close to 83,000.00 on a new truck with extended warranty and would like to save a little more
And the only way I am going to do that is with employee pricing
If you can help me Some how I will do what I can in return
Thank you

Unless you or your immediate family works for FCA, your pretty unlikely to get employee pricing.

When I bought my 2007 a guy I know worked for FCA at the plant in Cleveland and he gave me his employee choice discount. It was about $4500 off a $35,000 truck (2007 1500 Thunder Road). As far as I know FCA doesn't offer these anymore?

Nine times out of ten, what is commonly known as "Employee Pricing" ends up being higher than if you do your homework....Research incentives, research dealer gross, dealer holdback, and the real market value of your trade. Do that...and don't get emotionally attached to what you are buying(so you can walk if you have to).....And you will come out better than the "Employee Pricing" ********, every single time.

It's still available north of the boarder to family and friends. Different discount for family as oppose to friends

Yeah. Back then they had Employee Choice, Family and Friends, and Vendor. Employee Choice was the best discount of the 3. I think it was 5% under invoice and IIRC Family and Friends was 3% and Vendor was 1%.

My dad used to be a mechanic at a Ford dealer. Wanted to buy a brand new 1989 Ford Probe and he was given the employee discount. He went down the road to another Ford dealer and got it cheaper

He is right on here. My 1500 MSRP was 63k and I got it for $47200 which is 7k below invoice and 6k below FFP. I know this as I had a dealer price the same basic truck which was 62k and he gave me the printout with MSRP, Invoice and FFP.
My best guess is FFP is about 1k under invoice on 62k so add 21k and FFP may be $1500 below invoice.

The difference is there are tons of rebates on the 1500 and not so much on commercial trucks but you can still easily find a dealer that sells at rebate minus incentives but FFP won't save you much more than that.

As said above, you want the bells and whistles it's gonna cost you.
