Define "aggressive" offset? I don't have a huge amount of experience with offsets and that aspect of wheels. I would like to go without spacers if possible since I had spacers on my old truck and they caused me nothing but problems...

Im sorry im running a 4 inch suspension lift with a 3 inch body lift also running bills at max on 2015 Ram 1500 4x4 .. soon i will sale the bills and run Fox with reservoirs. Im sitting on chrome motometal 962 with a -44 in offset 20x12.5x5x139.7 wrapped in 35x20 Nitto M/T 10ply now the offset of a wheel is what locates the tire and wheel assembly in relation to the suspension. More specifically, it is the measured distance between the hub mounting surface and the center line of the rim. So with and agressive-44 inch offset allows me to run a bigger wheel and tire without rubbing the control arm the hub mounting surface is on the brake side of the center line of the rim, it is considered a negative offset or "deep dish".yea ppl saying to run wheel spacers dont know the will mess up the hub .. so avoid that hope this helps

goodyear 275/60/20 are 33" diameter or 33x11x20 tires

Please elaborate on what kind of spacers, and the problems.

I didn't read through all the post, but aggressive offset, imo, would be anything over a -12 on 9" wide, or -24 on 10" wide. But most would say "aggressive" would bring your tire out more from under the truck. It makes your truck look aggressive, hence the phrase.

I have a 2015 1500 sport. with 275/60/20 Goodyear wrangler 10k miles at 42psi. Just over 32" tall. Measured from the ground to the top of the tire.

So getting a 33 might be a little redundant... which explains why people that get 33's don't see a huge difference in MPG. Would really like to see some 33's on trucks with stock or 2"-ish lifts...

You are correct sir most 33" tires measure about 31.5" when they are installed on a rim and mounted on a vehicle. Goodyear' s specs list 275/60/20 as 33" overall diameter. Just as my 35x12.5x16 tires measure a little over 33" mounted on my Jeep but the specs say 34.8". That doesn't change the fact that they are a 33" tire per the manufacturer.

It is also a well known fact that most tires do not run true to size. Some manufacters run closer to spec then others.

To try and get the answer I belive the op is looking for.. The best answer with stock wheels is bils at 2.8, rear spacer 3/4"-1", and 1" hub centric bora spacers. With aftermarket wheels you should be shopping in the area of ?x9 with 0mm to -12mm offset. ?x10 with -12mm to -24mm, both with a hub larger than 78.1.

As a follow up note... I talked with the dealer during a warranty replacement and the service advisor(very knowledgeable guy) said that with Bilsteins at 2.8 on the front, 35's will clear easily. Going to add a 1" spacer in the back just to keep some rake and hope to preserve some MPG...

Lol the rear spacer won't do a thing to help preserve MPG's. As soon as those heavy 35's get on there it's game over for good mileage. For some that doesn't matter, but if I spent all that extra cash on an ecodiesel I wouldn't ruin the mileage with 35's. That's just me.

Well the rear spacer is so I can preserve some rake. I read somewhere that when someone leveled their truck, the MPG decreased because the truck is designed aerodynamically with rake being a factor. So I wanted to preserve some rake A) for looks and B) in HOPES that it would slightly improve aerodynamics in HOPES that would help MPG.

As far as the weight of the tires go, I'm going to take the wheels into consideration and when I upgrade wheels, try to go lighter to offset the weight of the tires(after I calculate the weight difference). Also planning on getting a GDE tune when I finish up all my tire/wheel work.

I swear, there's a method to my madness... might not be a great one, but it's A KIND of method :)

Good luck finding a wheel that weighs less than the stock 20s. Maybe if you go down to 17s...

After seeing your pics in the Bilstein sticky, I was considering 17s actually. I didn't want to get rid of the factory wheels for cost, but I still am thinking that I like the small wheel/big rubber look better than a rubberband with aggressive tread on a 20(figuratively).

I don't like 20s on a truck period (unless it has 37s or higher) unless it's only used as a road princess. Bigger tires is the only way to go imo.. Kinda hard to air down a "rubber band" to gain that extra traction. But I would recommend not doing 17s if you plan on lifting anything more than bilstiens.

No, I was going to bring it up with the Bilsteins and keep it there. I still want it in the garage if possible. Plus I have a mother in law who I drive around sometimes and well.... she needs to get in easy enough lol

Yea and not only are they better for off road, and better ride quality on the road. The tries for a 17" rim are significantly cheaper! Plus a lot more options and brands.
