So... I set my AC to recirculate. Cut the truck off and come back later and it's on fresh air. EVERY FREAKING TIME!
Is there a settings that I'm missing which keeps my settings?
I'm trying to keep my truck on recirculate, because I don't like the outside smell in my truck. (I have allergies) I never have problems with the windows fogging up, so that isn't an issue with me. My my issue is with selecting the recirculate and having to press it every time I get in the truck. A lot of times I forget, until I pass by someone cutting grass or something stinky. (It's more of a medical concern than a convenience)
How come the air conditioner fan speed doesn't reset to 0, but the recirculate resets?
Try using Max A/C. After turning off and on my 18, it will still be in recirculation, the same fan speed, and coming through the same vents using Max A/C found on the touch screen
This is the only way to keep it in recirculate. However if your truck has a humidity sensor which is on the high end HVAC systems, on long drives the system will automatically cycle to fresh air every now and then to control humidity inside the vehicle.

When I was in Upstate NY in cold weather I always saw cars with windows so fogged over it was a miracle they could see out. When in such a car I had to turn recirculation off. Guess I understand why the recirculation resets when car is off. But I don't get why every time I try to turn temperature all the way down it turns the AC on, that is annoying if I just want outside temperature and not even colder.
