I don't have a rear crossmember needed to mount the Mopar 68089777AB skid to protect the transfer case, and i've ordered Mopar 82214497 to fix that, i think the 8221497 kit comes with another skid plate, so i'll have a 2nd skid laying around :), but wanted to confirm the kit will fit my truck ?

2nd question, and the one i can't find anywhere, i bought the Power steering skid, Mopar 68200064AB to protect the power steering. i went to fit it in, but the rear crossmember where the skid is supposed to be bolted with nursets doesn't have any holes in it, only holes available are the ones for the front diff skid, which i've already mounted see pics below. could i order that Crossmember with the nutserts holes already in it?

The crossmember underneath the engine has the nutsert holes in there

But the other crossmember end, close to the oil pan, doesn't have the holes.
Is there a part number for this crossmember that will have the needed 2 holes to mount the Mopar 68200064AB ?

Hello,

82214497 will fit a 2014 1500 and includes the cross member

For the PS skid plate I will need your VIN to verify production date. If it shows applicable you will need to order the hardware shown on the install sheet here http://starparts.chrysler.com/info/default/K6862042.pdf

Thanks Benny, is there a way i can PM you the vin ? I don't see such option.
Also, i have the power steering skid, the bolts and the nutserts already, thanks so much for the visual, what i don't have is the crossmember with the 2 holes where the nutserts will be inserted. my crossmember only have the holes for the diff skid, but it's flat on the other side.
Thanks much.

Edited:
This is the crossmember i'm looking for, notice that one in the schematic you posted have the holes for the nutserts, whereas mine is just flat

When you get the results, please do post them here. I also have a 2014 CC Express and I'd like the part numbers needed as well.

I'll report back, or Benny can post the part number for everybody to see, either way, eager to know the answer :)

PM received and I replied but basically your truck is not compatible with the Power Steering skid plate as per FCA's notes

Tech Tip Description: Do not install this component on 2014 and 2015 Ram 1500 (DS/DX) vehicles built before 4/1/2014. These vehicles were built with a Front Lower Control Arm cross member that is not compatible with this skid plate. This cross member doesn`t include the bolt attachment holes. Skid plates can be installed on vehicles built on or after 4/1/2014, if built with the a compatible Front Lower Control Arm cross member.

^^that's nice, good job

Has anyone here installed the power wagon gas tank skid plate on their 1500?.....part number?

I'm thinking to buy that skid, but i don't know if i'll need another crossmember to mount it, somebody in the RAM forumz, installed it in his single cab RAM 1500, and in the pics he has, he shows two crossmembers, (52022046AE, which seems to be same crossmember that comes with the transfer case skid kit, Mopar 82214497) , and just one rail (which in this picture above are those 3 bar looking things right in front of the muffler, Mopar 52121534AA )

But i'm looking at my truck frame, and i don't see the spot with the double holes to mount another crossmember behind the crossmember i already installed for the TC skid, the frame already had the holes for that one.

See here

When installing that crossmember for the transfer case skid plate, are the holes already threaded?

Yes based on the fact that the hardware included are threaded bolts only. No rivnuts etc...

I suppose you can leave it but it looks like it's somewhat close to your exhaust and can hit
