Question on Factory LED lights

Hello,

I tried searching for this but don't seem to find information on this, hoping someone hear can help.

I have a 2017 Ram 1500 Sport with factory tail lights, one of which is cracked. I ordered a third party replacement set from a dealer on Amazon (cheapies, this is a leased truck) that also had LED's. Long story short, they sat in my office for the last 6 months, I just got around to trying to install them and they have a very different connector than the factory units. I'm guessing these are an incandescent -> LED kit and am wondering if anyone has seen a harness that will convert them or am I stuck with these.

Also, I can't find any 3rd party replacements for these, if I'm stuck does anyone have a recommendation on where to look?

I ran into this with a pair of Hella LED tails for my 2007. It had me scratching my head and looking at options such as a plug adapter, removing the connector and making up connections or sending them back.

Found out that the connector on the end was a two part assembly with an adapter at the end. I pulled that off and the connector that fit my OEM wiring harness was behind it.

Problem solved.

Check the tail light connector to make sure it's not a two piece assembly.

Nothing behind it but bare wires, the connector on the left is the 3rd party, connector on the right is original factory.

Any thoughts?

Plug the OEM light socket back into the factory connector, remove the bulb, and plug the aftermarket taillight plug into the OEM bulb socket. I had the same set up with my recon OLED taillights.
