Hey everyone!
I just wanted to ask a question regarding the power steering in 2019 Rams. Is it electronic power steering? How does it work compared to older vehicles?
The reason I say this is I took my Dad's 2019 Ram out to practice some parallel parking and after maybe two to three times of doing it the power steering "overheated" and completely went out due to "extreme maneuverability" and displayed a message stating, "Power Steering System Hot Performance May Be Limited" and showed a symbol with a Wheel and an ! (exclamation point) next to it.
Again, I am always wary about the truck and just wanted to know if this is something that is normal when parallel parking this truck.
(power steering did come back on after around 10-15 minutes.)
