Hey guys I got a 15 ram sport with the projector headlamps and I love my truck, but the factory lights just suck! They look awesome, but I couldn't see white rhino if he walked 25ft out in front of me lol.. The led blinkers and fogs are brighter than the headlights. Is there any led bulbs to convert it over to or is it better to go hids?? Also this truck is so smart it will tell u if any bulb is out cause I put leds in my tags n it says there out every time I get in it, will the bulb swap display that also? I know the projector bulbs are different size and styles verses a incandescent bulb..anyone know the size bulb to get? Thanks..

LED's haven't quite made it to the size we would need to fit inside the dust cover. I put HID's in mine from Jeremy at RetroShop.us and the entire setup fit in there, no cutting needed. Canbus adapter, 50W (Or 55, can't remember) ballast, and the wires and lights up like no other.

Not all 15's are playing nice with hid's. Some have had zero issues with hid's and others like myself are. Jeremy at retroshop is trying to find a solution. It might be a build date thing. I think the early 15's may have used left over computers from the 14's and something was changed in the computer on later production 15's

If you think the projectors are bad with stock bulbs, you should have seen the old style! Haha

There are a few smart fella's looking into this, so hopefully the late model 2015 guys will have a fix soon. I'm patiently waiting.

Yeah it's something I don't understand what ram does, they give u led tail lights and turn signals, but put a standard halogen bulb in a projector lamp, who gives a $hit about an led turn signal ya know, basically if a truck runs 50k it should come with light bars lol..

Hey, at least they're using LED. No direct competition is and I love how bright that **** is. It's just unfortunate that the LED's are brighter than the actual headlights.

Though I seriously believe this will be my last Ram, I'm happy with it for the time being.
