Anybody running American Racing long tubes with the stock exhaust and D0DM80?
I have the D0DM80 already installed on my completely stock exhaust. Was thinking about going with AR LT's while keeping everything stock except for the D0DM80. After that, I might lose the resinators but I want to hear it first.

Are you planning to run these with or without cats? Running without cats and a muffler delete will wake the dead...haha. It is still going to be very loud with the high flow cats and muffler delete though, so I would not get rid of the resonators.

Who are you kidding Matt? Even with cats itll wake the dead! I have the Magnaflow exhaust with the 22" muffler and when I ran with cats vs. no cats, there was not a huge difference. A little yes but its even very loud with the Maggy. Id say itll probably unbearable even with cats for daily driving.

I am really running ARH ceramic coated with high flow cats to a magnaflow catback 16869 kit. It has a 22" muffler with no resonators. Truck sounds throaty but not over the top. Real nice sounding with no drone on highway. Highly recommend this setup and defiantly get the coated. Helps with flow and heat.:roflsquared:

I wasn't planing on running cats, but now that you said that I'll look into them.
My kids are young so most of the time the're in the truck there sleeping, and I'd like to have a conversation with the passengers without having to intentionally raise my voice. I hate drone with a passion too.

With or without cats (with or without resonators), I believe it will be too loud for kids. I have had the DOD80m without headers and its LOUD. Much louder than my Maggy w/ headers no cats.

If you plan on going with headers and want the loud some of the time, Id suggest a 18" Magnaflow w/ resonators or 24" without and then install some cut-outs.

Noted. Thank you!
I'm ok with the M80 on my otherwise stock exhaust. But it's almost boarder line.
