Currently in progress with my MDS delete.
Motor is assembled and about to be put back in my truck, Ive got the solenoid pockets capped off and ready to go.
I cant find any info about what to do with the connectors that remain on the wiring harness. Im keeping the harness in
because of the VVT solenoid on the end of the pigtail. My thoughts were to tape up the existing connectors to prevent corrosion
from getting into them, i know they will be deactivated after the mds program is flashed/deactivated but still a failsafe for the electrical aspect. Another thought is to take the connectors off the old solenoids and use them as dummy caps for the harness. another concern is them resting on the block under the intake foam, wouldnt heat pose a threat since they originally sat off the block being connected to the solenoids?
i may just be overthinking everything but all of you guys have been a blessing in this endeavor, ive been doing alot of reading on other threads to assist in my back yard project!
Appreciate the feedback!
