RA3 upgrade problem, please help

Question for anyone who may know what to do. I upgraded from the RA2 to RA3, I upgraded the Bezel also. I got the the conversion harness and Hvac module. Got everything put in but the A/C won’t turn on and the fan speed turns of at 7 but works while on 1 thru 6, that’s not really a big deal. It’s more the AC not turning on. Any help is appreciated.

Did you already have the 7-speed fan?

Someone may chime in with a confirmation, but it looks like you may have the wrong HVAC Control Module. There is a different module for the 2500, 3500 and earlier 1500 models before 2016? I think.

I'm going through this conversion and I believe you may need this part # 68268186AA.

I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will/can correct me.

Thank you, I talked to 4th Gen Ram electronics to confirm if it was the conversion harness or not. He mentioned the same hvac module vs the one I got with the radio. I’ll look into buying one if I can find one that someone may be selling for less then buying new.

I also already had the 7 speed fan.

From the upgrade instructions that M2 Mods (see Vendor section) created:

"04. HVAC Control Module: 68268186Ax (AB, AC, etc) (7 speed Fan specific models)
** (also replaces 68183973Ax, 68236772Ax, 68239172Ax, etc. See here)

** UAx Radio Upgrade has very high likelyhood of HVAC Blend door issues that are fixed by adding the ATC wiring mod with conversion. See links in UAQ/UAS Upgrade thread. **"
