I'll be the first to admit that street racing is a bad idea, but today I was driving my truck and had a bit of whiskey throttle when a guy in a Duramax pulled up beside me and asked me to race, as for my truck it's bone stock performance wise and once he found that out along with the fact it's gas he laughed turned up his programmer and said see ya later.. Which is when I made him eat my dust now I'm even more pumped for my parts to come in!

It is a bad idea but I know how you feel. Sometimes you just want to put someone in their place. I end up falling victim to the temptation every time I take my 98 Trans Am out. Not so much in my 14 ram express I got recently it's not to fast now with the 35's.

Congrats...I got to shut down a guy in a 2014 Silverado last Friday, while heading home from work. He was in front of me at the light. Light changed and he hit it, peeled out, and took off. I gave him 2 lengths and then hammered her down, changed lanes, and flew by the Chevy lol. It was pretty enjoyable. He wouldnt even come up next to me to try again...just dropped back and stayed there haha

To each his own. Some people have racing in their blood, while others do not. Hell, we can jump in wheelchairs and ill race you down to the corner. Lol. Its not like I have never lost before so I will race anything that moves and some things that dont. Bet I can fall asleep first...haha night everyone!

***edit*** Besides, I keep my bikes around when I want to go fast!

Had a 2003 Triumph Sprint with modded exhaust and tune. That thing saw the other side of a buck and a half by gps. Things happen real quick at that kind of velocity.

I have a R/T and most of the guys around here know better than to try and race me, especially from a dead stop. Not saying there isn't something faster, just saying most of the guys in the know, know better. lol

Not quite as bad here, but it all depends on the officer's mood and what citation he decides to stick you with.

Interesting thread. I just shake my head and let em go especially with the car as i would get too exited and just make a plume as the Wagon starts to move ahead at the top of second Gear as it burns into 3rd, just not worth the embarrassment or the chance the Cops might be around and it costs 384 for one of the truck tires smoking those in 2HI only happens late at night on a deserted road in the middle of nowhere. Yea, here it's a fu**ing joke. You can be all alone, and if your driving too fast, like 40km over, and your charged with "street racing". Street racing???!!! All alone???!!! Pathetic. Ontario is a province that generates $$$ by fines, levies, permits, taxes, fees, etc. Soon you'll have to pay a fee to bang your own wife/girlfriend.

pretty sure that's part of the next budget along with the PST increase, gas tax, hydro fees and whatever else they are trying to squeeze up our rear ends. they should at least send us some free lube
