RADIO SWAP QUESTION

I have a 2018 2500 tradesman with the base model radio. No touch screen.

I have access to a radio from a 2018 tradesman 1500 that is the touch screen but not the biggest one.

Can I just swap these out, plug and play?

Also would like to swap out temp control modules. Mine has 4 AC settings the other has 8 I think.

I know you can’t swap the HVAC controls without changing a wiring harness and maybe something else. If you lookup the sticky thread on installing the 8.4” radio it’s detailed in there.

I think the radio is plug & play but if you don’t already have the hands free system that part wouldn’t work. I’m pretty sure the microphone is in the rear view mirror.
