Radio volume HELP

My 2013 ram 1500 had a ra2 radio w/ 5inch screen and volume knob in it, I recently upgraded to the 2019 Touch Screen 8.4" VP2_8.4 DT SXM! But Volume stuck at 20!!! I have steering wheel controls but now they don’t work now with this newer radio (part #: P68292209AG model#: TOMYD316821770) uconnect. I installed the 7 speed fan module and bought a new 8.4 bezel. The ac knob and hazards work, but the volume knob and channel knob just spins! Even tried to use the volume control on the touchscreen but didn’t work. Help me please

From what I gather a Delco vp2 dt will not work In 4th gen ds truck.mostly volume problems.
