All - My son needs new tires on his '17 Ram 1500 4x4. He currently has crappy Goodyear Wrangler SR-A in 275 60 20 which measure out at 32.99" diameter; prior owner. WIth all the expenses we have in the next 18 months we will be keeping the same crappy plastic Laramie wheels. I'd like a bit more beef on the tires. In the event I go Bilstiens @ 2.3" I'd want to know if these BFG T/A KO2s in 275/65/20s measured 34" diameter fit the truck. Is there going to be any issues with this on a stock 1500 4x4. Thanks

No troll. Just looking for confirmation to my thoughts. My apologies for not asking a really difficult question. I'll try to drum one up tonight. Sometimes these forums are about looking for confirmation with questions. It also doesnt help that the stock 1500 4x4 have a stance not much difference that a 4x2.

Part of it i didn't ask was that i want him to have the ability to put real snow chains w/vbars on the front with these tires and not have any issues with rubbing.

If he’s putting snow chains leave them stock size, or level it up and go larger the height ain’t gonna be an issue on that size Burt it’s the width that’ll take you down. Unless you run some wheel spacers. If you run some wheel spacers make sure they are “HUBCENTRIC” the reason I capped that is to let you know only Hubcentric have a place for your wheel lip to sit against like the stock hubs do, and won’t place all the stress on the wheel studs and then thing’s get ugly. Hope that helps.

No problems. I ran that exact tire before I got the level.

I have Goodyear Duratracs, LT275/65R20 mounted on the stock wheels with no issues what so ever.
