Ram 1500 v6 steering column tick sound

Hi guys i have a weird sound coming from my steering column did anyone else experience this type of sound ? dealer said it was normal of course
i have a video its at the last second (0:16) that u can hear the sound.

Agree. From the video, it does sound like it's coming from right behind the steering wheel, which could be clock spring related.

Now if the dealer said that is normal should i try a different one or call fcaa?

My best mate is a mechanic with a little independent shop, all make all sizes and he knew what it was immediately he heard mine doing it, so even a BAD tech should know and fix properly.
make sure they put your steering wheel back on straight cos they often don’t!

Did they compare the noise to other Ram 1500 classics on the lot? I owned a 2017 with a pentastar and currently own a 2019 classic w/ hemi. Neither made that noise turning the wheel lock to lock.

I dunno how big a deal it is to R/R the clockspring on these, but I do know the combo switch is super easy.
