Hello all first time here. I just bought a 2019 Ram bighorn and found a problem. Water leak under drivers floor carpet. I’ve had windshield tested and thirds brake light taped up to do process of limitation. I’ve been back and forth to the dealer trying to figure this out. I’ve had the door body seal replaced and still water. I have a water specialist coming on Wednesday to see what he can find. Has any one have issues with the roof body trim seal causing leaking into the floor? Back seat floor is dry it’s by drivers left foot pooling up.thanks for any tips it’s driving me crazy. 4BCF1AAA-CD80-425F-A24C-189A194349C8.jpeg1FAF80E8-3E82-4014-A2A4-C995845C4E35.jpeg1AFDFA55-F226-42FC-BEE0-049463AE7186.jpeg

My 2019 bighorn has basically the same week but only on the passenger side. The water pools right by the front of the passenger seat where you would put your feet rest of the carpet is totally dry on passenger side. I took off the cowl I blew out the AC vent I blew out all underneath the cow to no avail and it seems to only happen during a heavy rain.

I’ve done all that and had windshield tested and only thing I can come up is that it’s the pinch weld not sealed properly I just took it parked inside and pulled it apart and seems to be come from the weld172E6F5D-CC77-408C-95F7-83962EE4FBFA.jpeg

You have to take the driver's side front fender off to get to the (A pillar) leak onto floor, I used 3M Heavy drip check sealer that goes into the seam and seals it up.
There is a Star online publication Case #S1923000026 that explains the repair and if FCA should be responsible.

So even more digging it looks to be leaking even higher then I thought and running down inside the column I’m thinking it’s actually the windshield or something high. You can see where the water has made it’s way out about the mid windshield level the. Once the surface got surface rust the water found it’s way down In turn coming out of the lower part where I thought the weld is.

I have the rear window issue leaking in my 2019. What did you find? Friend of mine has a 2022 with water leaking down the driver side grab handle. Unreal. Truck has literally 10K on it. RAM is not ready for prime time. In almost 40 years of owning cars I've never had a car leak, never mind one as new as these trucks. Buy American they said.

I have a 2020 limited with 74,000 miles. Discovered the back carpet under the rubber floor mat is saturated. Really smells bad and have to let the truck air out before driving. Not sure if I should try the dealer or local glass or body shop to try and figure out what the heck is going on. I have a slider, but no sunroof.

I'm having this exact same issue with my 2020 Laramie. Front floor is soaked (mostly drivers side but passenger somewhat as well). Pulled carpet up and reached up underneath the rubber covering above floorboard and the foam padding is completely saturated and soaking wet. The leak has to be coming from up above somewhere near windshield. Dumped a little bit of water in the windshield cowel on both sides and the water seemed to drain down the back of Front wheel wells like it should be. I'm at a loss. I'm wondering if it doesn't have something to do with the windshield.

Did you find the cause?
