Ram 2500 3.73s or 4.10s

As said, buy the better truck.
Gears are cheap and easy to do.

I had 3.73 in my 2500 and would pull anything with zero problems but i had teh V-10 too

4.10 hands down if you tow.

I doubt there’s much difference towing between the 2 but I do really like my 4.10’s pulling 10-11K lbs.

I went from a 3.73 in my old truck to a 4.10 in my power wagon. I can tell a difference between the two for sure especially the shifting pattern. The 4.10 seems to hold the gears a little better than the 3.73 and torque feels better. Is it a world of difference and a deal breaker I don’t think so but if I had the choice between two trucks that were identical other than gearing I would opt for the 4.10.

I've towed with both and I agree, the 4.10s just handle it better.

Ahh the great decision! I have a 13 2500 Laramie Cummins which came with the awful 3.42 gears. Been trying to make up my mind and debating gear choice for a couple years now lol! 3.92 would be perfect it they don't make em. I have 35s and a 9k RV that I tow occasionally. My gut tells me to do the 4.10s, I just worry about HWY rpm. Ive also considered a power wagon but but they only have a 9k max tow rating.
