Nice but won't it run once it gets wet?

I have been using 303 protectant on mine.
It's like sunblock for plastic and rubber.
So far so good.
How old is your truck?

Go to auto parts store and get a couple cans of sem trim black rattle can. I use it to refurb plastic at dealerships and on my vehicles. Lasts years.

I don't think so but time will tell...the review that I read that gave me the idea stated that it has held up well and I would assume that includes against rain

That's what I did last month right after getting the truck. I normally use "Mothers Back To Black" on the trim, and it worked well to restore the cowl and my mirrors, but it couldn't salvage the ramboxes.

Some pics:

That sem trim looks factory and lasts. I use it often to restore Nissan xterra and older avalanches. Easy to do and great results. Plus it doesn't wash off.

I used a product called pig spit. Really, that what its called.

My 2010 was the same as yours. Its been a month now sitting in the sun, and its perfect.

I couldn't believe it. I'll have to get some pictures. I bought a can of it from a local Harley dealership.

Rambox faded lid has fiberglass-like splinters

2009 TRX with Rambox. Lids have faded and if you touch (or sit on) the black part, you will get slivers in your skin. Anybody else getting this? Any ideas for sealing? So far I've heard Krylon Fusion, Plasti-dip, semi-black trim rattle can (is that just spray paint for trim), and bed liner. I'm leaning toward the bed liner because it would seem to be more durable. Suggestions?
