Got a question if some one can answer? I have pacesetter long tube and an 3" y pipe. I am looking to put 3" cats on it. Do you know if the Magnaflow 99659HM will work with my computer. I do not like the little light on. Or can this cat problem be tuned out of the computer with my Diablo Trinity (off road use only of course)?

Question is will the cats I listed be good enough so my computer on my truck will not throw the code for Catylitic Converters. Or if you can tune that code out with the Trinity I have.

I have a Magnaflow SS 4"in/4"out 20"

The cats can be turned off through the custom tune. I am running catless and with my DSP tune the light has never came on for that.

I would go with high flows cats from Magnaflow since they also have front and rear bungs ready for your o2's. If the codes you are getting pertain to the rear o2's then it very possible that non foulers will take care of it too.

As mentioned above you can have the sensors turned off via custom tune but just fyi that it will show non readiness if you need to go through emissions ( non visual inspection).

Thanks for the info. So it can be fixed in the tuner. If anyone can answer the first question
too that would be great. I do not mind putting the Hi-Flow spun cats on there if they will be good enough not to throw codes.

Yes it can be tuned out, you need to contact Diablo or another CMR tuner to get a tune file written to remove the code.

If you go with the magnaflow Cats you may still get the codes thrown, I know a few people who have done the high flow magnaflow cats and still have the code pop up. Other thing about the magnaflow cats is you will need to get one of the front bungs closed up. There is already the front O2 **** on the header collector so either that one or the front one on both cats need to be sealed.

Have you tried the nonfouler trick to see if that will remove the code first?

I have ran the non foulers before and my truck wasnt buying it. I think I will just do the tune thing.. Much easier and the tune cost less than buying the two new cats.

If you can, get a full CMR tune, not just the cat delete tune, it will run better than any of the performance tune that are preloaded onto the unit.
