Dealer estimated 6-8 weeks until my truck arrives!
I went with a pretty basic truck for my needs. DT Big Horn 4x2 Crew Cab 5’7 bed. V8 w/etorque, Level 2 equipment package, billet silver, rubber floor mats, and that’s it! I wouldn’t think this was a really unique configuration, but couldn’t find it ANYWHERE. My first mod will be to install side steps.
Thanks everyone for posting. I learned a lot reading through these.

Welcome. Make sure you strip the paint off of the mounting bolts. They’ve come painted on every truck I’ve seen and it sucks.

Thanks! I’ve seen some posts and videos mentioning that. Any recommendations for brands? I’ll likely go with the chrome look.

I just installed the Westin Traxx Pro 4" on my truck but in black since I have the Black Appearance Package. They look and work great and were very affordable at $197. I guess I was fortunate that the nuts went right on the mounting bolt. There was some paint on them but it gave me no issue.

Mine came in earlier than expected. It was delivered to the dealer on March 26th. However, either the hood or the passenger side panel of the truck is misaligned. It went straight to the body shop to see if it can be corrected.

Ouch! That’s sucks! Hopefully this is the only issue you have and they didn’t sacrifice quality for speed. I just checked in with Ram and my truck has shipped! No ETA on delivery just yet, but it has gone a lot faster than I expected. Ordered 3/18, VIN assigned 3/20, and now shipped 4/2. Fingers crossed there was a quality check somewhere in there. Also the rebates aren’t as good as they were when I ordered so hopefully I can work with the drealer a little on that one.

Panel issue has been corrected ... for the most part. It is no longer touching the hood, but I still think there is either a broken or loose clip which they can't get to without ripping more of it apart.

Other things I've noticed since my original reply .... I too seem to have wind or road noise coming from the rear of the cabin, and the 12" display blacked out on me yesterday. These complaints have been posted elsewhere by others in various threads.

Not giving me the warm and fuzzies about my first FCA!! But every car has issues, I had a Honda that had the transmission go at 10k! Hope you find a resolution

Get 3.92 gears!

Ah, I’ve asked several people before ordering my truck about the famous 3.92 gears, and they all said NO unless you are towing upwards of 10,000 lbs. Who is signing up for even worse gas mileage for no reason?

I have on my last 3 trucks, have towed once or twice with them ever. I'll gladly lose the mpg or two (I'm not buying a truck for fuel economy) and take the increase in acceleration off the line. If I get a 4th consecutive ram after this one, it will have the 3.92 LSD, deal breaker for me otherwise. I've had some vehicles with higher gear ratio's and with something this heavy, give me all the acceleration I can get. And yes, I have driven a crew cab with both 3.21 and 3.92, so I have felt the difference first hand.
