RAM is Down!

There are a lot of 2022 trucks having regeneration issues. I've made a post on multiple forums and Facebook book. I would imagine if they start a buy back it would start a land slide. Crap for the customer 100% and wrong but it's probably what's going on.

It is so strange it is mostly on 22's, although not strictly. Has me watching the regens on my 22 pretty close. I'm at almost 1400 miles with no regen right now, almost all towing my 7k enclosed trailer, and probably 80% of that at interstate speeds. I feel so bad for folks that are having these constant regen issues.

I dont drive my truck that much. But when I do , I usually tow my fifth wheel RV with it. Towing this rig, really works the truck pretty hard, and I have only had a couple of regens that I am aware of. And those happened on the rare occasion, I wasnt towing my RV, and used the truck like a car. My tuck is a 22, with 11.5K miles.

Yeah I am a contractor. I do a lot mixed driving and at the moment my truck does not like to tow in town. It will send it into regen pretty quick, Ram care tried to tell me I wasn't driving it correctly lol. I simply told them there was no instructions or restrictions said when I bought my truck and if my truck goes into regen after 50miles we have issues. The truck should be able to idle that long with no issue's. They are trouble shooting my motor vibration right now trying to pin point the source. I really hope this is the end for the truck as it will always be a problem truck going forward.

The 22' trucks seem to be the problem child. There are still quite a few with no issues but it would definitely not hurt to keep an eye on it. I feel bad for the people that have no idea and don't pay attention and have no idea.

A guy I know always asks me a lot of questions about my truck. He wants to upgrade his Ram 1500 to an HD with SO Cummins for retirement, which is 2 years away. He currently uses his truck for commuting. I told him to wait until he is closer to retirement where he will pulling his RV a lot. These are just not every day drivers. Such a shame.

I get tickled at the never-ending cleverness in mankind dreaming up so many schemes to lighten other's pocketbooks; disguised as "for the environment" or such a song! Who would have thought 40 years ago that diesel engines would be so stringently administered for emissions among so many other things we live with routinely now?

Yep 100%. I am fine with emissions on deisel trucks but at least make it drivable without issues.

Nothing yet. I gave the Manager permission to hook any trailer he wanted to it, they are trying to do live readings on it. They obviously don't know what's wrong or how to fix it.
