RAM Letters for front grill Red or Black

Truck: 2017 Ram 1500 Sport.
I purchased a black grill for my truck.
I want to install the red lit "RAM" letters to the center of the front grill. I think the letters are suppose to fit in the center slotted area in the middle of the grill.
This small section is only 2" tall. Every letter I see online (Amazon, Ebay) appears to be larger than 2" so it will not fit.
I can not find any letters that's only 2 inches. The pictures online and the trucks I see on the highway the letters look larger. ( I might be thinking about this the wrong way).

Looking at other RAM trucks online looks like the letter "RAM" is actual mounted toward the outer surface of the grill not between to small area.

Can someone tell me where to purchase the correct size letters that mount on the grill shown in the pictures. I think the letters are maybe slightly larger than the 2" space. Anyone familiar with this type grill. I purchased from ebay. The ones online have letters with them. My grill came with no letters or instructions. Please send me a picture. I am a newbie. This is my first RAM truck and I love.

On a white truck the red seems off to me. Would suit the red warlock though. I'd stick to black, silver or white (body colour) if it were me.

I think it looks just as good without the lettering. Are you looking for letters that actually light up?

I wanted to break up the all grill look with something. A truck with all black and white needs a little red to break it all up. I think just a little red for accent looks nice. I got tricked when I purchased my grill. I assumed I was getting the lettered grill. I see now based on Haddon's picture above that I purchased the wrong grill.

@Haddon where did you get the hood decal. I love that look. That's perfect to breakup my all white hood.

Yes, something that lights up red.

You are right silver would look better than red in my case because of the silver in my rims. Great suggestion.
I still need to find something that can attach to my grill and the hood decal that Haddon has on his truck. That would be awesome.

It was from decal company in Quebec. I’ll try and find it for you. Yep it gives the hood a nice look. Also there is a company that Iam checking out that has a red dripping look on the Ram grill letters.. will locate .

forgot to give the measurements of the letters I purchased, thru are 2 1/4 inches tall, between 5 1/2 and 6 inches wide. They fit that aftermarket grill perfectly
