Although sad, I don't think it was a decision made without merit. The North American segment was responsible for buying a lot of gas mileage credits from other companies, which was costing FCA millions and hurting the bottom line. Travares wanted this stopped...completely. I don't know what the EPA rating was on the TRX but I'm betting it was bad enough to attract first attention. The fact that it had low production numbers probably didn't help.TRX named the Truck of the Year----Stellantis reply----let quit building them. I'm not a business wizzard but sounds like a bad decision to me.
