I have had 3 rams since 2009 with the air suspension. 14 years of Idaho winters and never had a problem. I have one pickup that has aftermarket installed heated seats and they work well.

I cringe now when I read that air suspension is considered a "plus". Air suspension is great...till it isn't! Just my 2 cents...

Anything is great until it isn't...

I have had two 1500s with 4C Air and no problems.

Do you have an obligation to purchase it? If not, then simply order the one you like with the factory options you like. If you do, then have them install the heated rear seats and be done with it. Perhaps, since it's not your fault, they can install them free of charge to you? Doesn't hurt to ask.

My local dealer would have absolutely done this (install at N/C) and it would have the factory warranty as well.
