$15k over a normal truck with a pentastar or $30k over and double battery with no pentastar.

2025: $60k for a crew cab 4x4 tradesman 3.6. $75k for a Ramcharger. $90k for a REV. Canadian pricing, of course.

What's the differences?
The Ramcharger and Rev are both electric vehicles but the Ramcharger has a built in generator to recharge the battery. Ram has stated plugging in the Ramcharger will be optional.
If you need to use the truck as a truck for towing/hauling, in cold climates, travel to remote areas, etc (situations where fast charging will be needed and probably not available), the Ramcharger is probably the better choice.
If all you're going to use the truck for is a local grocery getter then the REV will probably work for you.

More interested in the Ramcharger since I would not have to plug it in. Could be a good replacement for the hemi. Only time will tell im hoping to keep mine until 2030 but may have to rent one to see how it works and if its worth the cost.

Ramcharger will outsell REV by leaps and bounds. Heck, if they don't screw the pooch by second year it will outsell REV and Lightening. The only hope for EV truck sales (IMO of course) is the work truck/fleet market, and I've not seen anybody focus there yet, so...

Of course the occasional "I feel manly driving a truck" yahoo will buy one to drive around town but anybody that uses a truck as tow/work/extended travel vehicle will avoid any EV truck.

Crud, I'm taking a 125 mile trip (and then back) in my Tesla Thursday and have to deal with that fact that there is literally no charging stations on the route. Or back. Can I go 250 miles? Maybe....

Would I deal with that crap towing? Never.

I would go with the REV, they have super cool clothing so you can "represent"

$69.95 for a tumbler? Puts the truck right around $245,000 with those margins.

With retirement coming soon, I will be going to one vehicle which will need to make the occasional 400 mile trip to visit family. I had a Chevy Volt for 3 yrs. loved it, but it was too small for my needs. I like the idea of the Ramcharger for me.
