I've had my '04 2500 Ram 4x4 5.6 for a few years. Replaced injectors, cut hole in bed to replace fuel pump [making future replacements a cinch!], after Shiver diesel jacked me around for over $3000 "trying" to locate the problem. (it cranked too long before starting, then finally refused to start. I had suspected a lift pump, but they claimed it needed an injector, then ALL the injectors.) Then i had it towed in and they claimed the fuel pump wasn't plugged in, after me waiting two weeks, and charged me $180. One Shiver dude looked at me shaking his head in disbelief as I payed his relative. I should have gotten the message that I was being ripped off so bad even HE couldn't believe it!
But aside from some front end play and an intermittent cruise control, the truck seems to run well now. 12.5 MPG.
If anyone knows how to fix intermittent cruise, please let me know! TY!
