Firechicken for the win; 2nd gen Pontiac F-body is my personal favorite. The Ram Air IV 400 was a screamer too.

Always thought the last year TA was the high water mark for styling & performance. Always had a soft spot for the later 80's TA's because 1) I was in high school when that particular style was out, 2) I was a Knight Rider fan & 3) Thanks to a bunch of the different cars in my family I was a fan of pop up/hidden headlights. The ones I ultimately wanted though:

While we're talking Pontiacs, I worked here after I got out the Air Force, had a blast.

I built this for Kirby Carmichael, a DJ out of Richmond, Va. Massaged SD 455 and a doug Nash 5 speed. He had Kilowatt airbrushed on the hood scoop, 10 - 100 watt amps in the trunk, no back seat, all speakers.

Only 25 model years to get an antique/classic plate in my state.

However, I think we may be one of the only states that will let you pay to use a legitimate historic license plate. The license plate must be one that was really issued (though not necessarily to that specific vehicle) for the same year as the model year of the vehicle. If you have a 1960 car and a 1960 license plate, you can legally use it on the road if you register it. You'll get a modern plate as well.

Alabama changed its law to get rid of antique plates and didn’t grandfather anyone. They changed it to a vintage vehicle tag at 30 years or a tag from that model year as long as it is in good condition and in the original tag’s colors up to 1976, I believe…maybe 1977 when they went to multi-year tags. Vintage and old plates are only allowed to be driven on Sundays, to & from the mechanic or “to & from automotive events” (with no guidance as to what constitutes an automotive event is).

These wide body Cuda conversions are starting to grow on me.

It looks good. Styling looks pretty spot on. I just am not a fan of those wheels. I would have liked to have seen some sort of vintage wheels that they did 18’s with. It even has the stance right. They should have offered a 6 speed themec conversion as an option seeing as those cars had the option all the way to the end. A pistol grip in the center console would look nice. I would also like to see the seats reworked maybe they could have worked with Recaro to create something closer to that era.

If you bought a 6 speed Challenger you'd have the tranny you wanted, lol.
They'll do the conversion on any of the redesigned 15+ Challengers including Hellcats / Demons etc,if you take them the car is my understanding.
They'd look good with a 15" brake conversion, then you could run pretty well any of the old school wheels, like the 5 spoke Cragars. The majority of the hard core guys are all running the smaller brake conversion packages,so they can run a 15" slick

I would do the brake conversion. I can get away with 15s on the Camaro, but if requires spacers. 17” slicks are almost impossible to find as everyone still runs 15s. I’ve got a buddy with a Demon I am sending him that link lol.

My buddy has the 15" brake set-up on his 1,000hp Red Eye,but he won't mod either his Demon or his Super Stock, although he does race the Demon, and will bring it on our tours occasionally.
I sent him this, and told him he should send them his 1320 to do the conversion to,lol
