rear 3 inches drop

i have a 2018 regular cab 2wd ram 1500, i want to drop the rear about 3 inches

so can I just install a rear shorter shocks and cut my stock springs ?

Cut-off wheel in an angle grinder,and make sure you put the same taper back on the coil that it has on the stock upper coil.If you don't put that taper back on,you'll wear through the upper rubber isolater in short order and end up with an annoying noise. BTW you're in the 5th Gen forum,and you have a 4th Gen
