I installed Timber Grove Air Bags in my 2022 Laramie. I have a 500# pop up camper on the bed. I also tow a boat or my Lance Travel Trailer (5,000#'s). Tongue weight is 500#'s plus 500#'s for the pop up camper shell is a total of 1,000's and dropped my bed several inches. The air bags now work flawlessly. I traded in my RAM 2500 for the 1500 Ecodiesel. I never looked back. The 1500 ride is 100 times better then the 3/4 ton.

Can anyone tell he the height of a stock truck?? Measuring from the ground up to the center of the rear wheelwell. Maybe I did loose height with the new springs, I can't find my measurements I wrote down with the stock spring. I keep getting conflicting stories with the 1211 springs, some people get 1/2" lift and some people get no lift. I'm 275lbs and if I sit on the Tailgate, the truck will drop about 1/2". And this is with the tuftruck 1211 springs which are supposed to have a 50% increase over stock springs. I'm really starting to think I got a bad set.

Mine was about at 39" give or take 1/2" - but I have an Outdoorman which might be a bit higher than many models.

On my brother's 1500 we kept the stock coils and added air bags. Made a world of difference. Keeps it with the proper rake even heavily loaded and actually improved the gas mileage by about 4 mpg by getting the back end up and the nose back down into proper position loaded. Handles a whole bunch better too, especially with a trailer on, but still rides really nice. Airs them down to 5 lbs running empty, and airs up to get the right rake depending on load.

I replaced the originals on my 2015 1500 with heavy duty springs from Michigan Truck Spring. I have 2 toolboxes and it raised it over 2 inches and stopped it from rocking from side to side on rough roads at higher speeds.

The TufTruck 1211's were not as stiff as I was hoping. I added a set of Sumo Springs (blue) to replace the bump stops just to level the rear when my trailer is hooked up.

My travel trailer is only 19' but I am not sure what the tongue weight is. Looking at the truck when I drop it on the ball it must be 2000lbs.

The 1211's say 50% increase over stock - but which stock spring?
Even then it might only be another 500 lb. capacity or so, there's no detailed information that I have seen.

Find a CAT scale and take the truck and trailer fully loaded over the scales, then drop the trailer and weigh just the truck. Use those numbers to calculate the tongue weight percentage. Move some weight around in your trailer till your about 12%, too much tongue weight isn't good either.
Of course readjust the WDH to restore the lost front axle weight and the rear axle is heavier than the front.

I would not hesitate to contact tuftruck customer service. when I did they were very helpful.
I have the 1210s and biltstien 5100s in the back. love the combo! once in a while I wonder if I should have got the 1211s but hey if I ever need more capacity they are easy to change

I measured mine and my buddies classic the other day in his gravel driveway
his cc 4x4 night edition was 39 1/4 in the back
my cc warlock 4x4 was 39 3/4 in the back
mine was about 1/2 higher in the front than his as well but I forgot the exact measure at the moment was 36 or 37 and a half

so much for the warlock 2 inch lift lol but I dont want it any higher in the back for now

just put 1211 in my 5th gen and they are performing wonderfully.
WDH was not even set up correctly, 4 inches too high, still handled the trailer in 50 mph Gusts and steady 20mph winds.
Got WDH set up correctly and donp;t even notice trailer is back there and less than an 1/8 inch off unloaded fender lip measurements.

39 inches is rear, fi I remember correctly.

Call Tuftruck they are super helpful.
somethign is not right with yoru springs.

Thinking of replacing my 1211 rear springs with a pair of eibach 1" lift springs and eibach shocks. Would I have to install a drop bracket for the panhead bar, or will I be alright without it??
