Good day all, as title says I have a rear end squeal on mid to hard acceleration from rear end. What should I be looking for?? It’s driving me insane. Thanks in advance.

maybe a pinion bearing? I had mine done at about 65k miles. You should be able to jack up your truck, put it on stands, and run it in gear. It helped me to eliminate a wheel bearing as the issue. I had the garage install a eaton tru track while they were replacing the bearing. That was a worthwhile upgrade over the open diff that was in my truck.

The noise mine was making was more of a whine that got louder with speed.

First thing I'd do is check fluid level carefully. If old or dirty, change it, maybe use a bit heavier fluid for the refill.

Also, it may not be the diff, but possibly a low brake pad warning tab contacting the rotor. Check all the pads for adequate thickness.
