Hello all.

I just changed my rear fuel filter for the 2nd time. I had to use a massive set of channel locks. The first time I used a filter wrench that was a little small but it worked. This time I couldn't get it to grab. My question: Is there a great tool for removing this rear filter? I have the correct socket for the filter under the hood, the wrench for the rear sensor, the correct oil filter wrench, and even the oil filter plug so I can prevent spillage.

Just need help with ideas for the rear fuel filter. Thanks.

You're clearly over tightening it if you can't get it with a standard filter wrench. It doesn't have to be that tight.

He has the sensor wrench. His trouble is getting the filter to loosen. Sounds to me if he can't get it with a standard filter wrench it is being overtightened initially.
Damn I need to read better. I have one like this that the handle folds. There is not alot of room to swing a handle. I also but in a thin silicone band.

I would love to see if a 5th gen setup could be retrofitted

Yup, I have the same wrench. I carry it under the back seat with spare filter and sensor wrench. You never know if you're going to get a bad batch of fuel and need to change it on the road.
