Hey was wondering if anyone had their rear leaf spring hangers replaced and if so what did you pay ? Also I know the parts arent to expensive how hard of a DIY project is this especially for someone with little experience?

its not too bad you have to jack the whole rear end up and support it by the frame to unload the leafs. Take the old one out and use your jack under the rear pumpkin to align the holes back up and put bolt back in and torque to the proper spec.

It's pretty simple you might have to remove your hitch if you have one to get the bolts out. If I remember correctly. Just remove the shackle don't try to remove the whole leaf. If you try to get the front bolt out in your driveway you won't be successful. I have tried on a few trucks and always seized in the bushing. Need to cut them off. The rear I have never had a problem getting them off. Good luck

Are bushings generic or specific for every vehicle? Sorry for a noob question I am trying to learn so to hopefully save a few bucks. A friend is willing to help who is a little more mechanically inclined. Thanks again
