Hey all I have a 17 with 6 speaker 5.0. I put 3.5 Hertz in my dash, 6x9 Hertz in the front door and still have stocks in the rear. The fronts has waaay better clarity than oem, but I feel I've lost some mid range or punch that the stocks had. Unless I turn it really loud then the mid kicks in more.

Obviously I know the best answer is a sub. Not looking for major bass just a decent punch. Any recommendations for the rear that might add a bit more bass and mid? I don't really care about the clarity as much since the fronts provide plenty.

Actually this seems really dumb but I turned the mids way up and it helped a ton. So thread is kind of pointless minus I can't delete nkw

The new front speakers are overpowering the rears. I replaced the fronts first too, then when I replaced the rears it sounded much better. You’ve only got two speakers left to replace, what’s stopping you from replacing them?

I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but man, do they ever come up with some great ideas.
