How could I add yellow turn signals in my rear lights?

Anyone done this?

I can imagine that I would have to drill into the reverse light housing... But thats as far as I can get with my experience of modifying factory lights (which is zero experience).

I said the same thing also. Some computer and programming and hardware changed needs to be done. Best advise I can give you is to seek Assistance from a Ram importer like Clive Sutton in UK as they by law have convert the trucks they sell with rear amber turns. Its the law in the UK. That's then only advice I have.

Maybe if you installed a switchback 3157 bulb somehow. The running light wire for the new 3157 plug could be hooked up to your reverse light and the turn signal wired in normal. The tricky part would be getting a 3157 bulb holder into the reverse portion of the taillight

I have a friend that plans on doing this to his 2016 2500. He is going to wire reroute the turn wires from the tail lights down to the reverse lights. He is installing Feniex Cannon 360s in Amber/white - Amber for turn, white for reverse.

He has a long list to complete lol. He is a lighting up-fitter and has been busy with a couple of projects from police cars to private vehicles such as my own lol. Personally I am running white/amber cannons the same way in my reverse lights however my amber is wired in as warning lighting. To make them you turns I would think it would be as simple as splicing the amber straight into the turn wires on each side and then put inline resistors to override the CANBUS system.

Scroll past the Firestones in my thread down to where I installed the lighting. You will see cannons on for reverse and then in the video they flash amber to give you an idea of what it would look like - http://www.ramforum.com/f41/merry_christmas_me-78298/

If you can get a bright yellow led it should shine through the red lens. the bentleys tail light shines yellow through the red lens. if you don't have led tail lights you could tap into what ever wire is the turn Signal or even the trailer turn signal wire and run a yellow led into the back of the tail light housing Just drill a big enough hole into the back of the light so the led fits this should work. DO IT NOW AUSTIN

It should be very easy u could use a relay to make it work all you would have to do is wire it up just like you did for your led light bar. Relay to power and ground and then tap into the turn signal wire for the trailer , you could use something like this https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...IrKc84XJ7eUzzmLtg-BxDFCQ6amp2Vd8M-RoCZy_w_wcB for the bulb find the male end to a blub like that and I bet it would work like factory
