Rebel finally showing Equipment Listing

So after 8+ months of waiting. My Rebel showed up today, with Equipment listing.

I have question for you smart people. What does this mean?

Looks like I have couple more months of waiting though.
Wonder what Special Scheduling means? Because of the 2022 models ?

Special Scheduling Conditions are just agreements that you asked for when ordering, usually to much of a pain to look up

If your Ram will be a 5th Gen Ram to be built at the Sterling Heights Michigan Assembly Plant, better known as SHAP
The plant will start building the 5th Gens likely on August 23rd
They are committed to first build the Rams without VIN #s, they will be demonstrator vehicles for automobile reporters will test drive, where others will be sent to AUTO SHOWS.

After those are built, they start building Customer Special Orders & then the cars for the Dealerships Sales Lots

So your Ram may be built in the first half of September

Being as you live in Toronto, your new Ram will never be loaded on a train, it will be delivered by Auto Carrier Semi Truck

The only thing that you have to think about is if you ordered special Electronics
Some Electronic items were on back order

They are only going start Aug 23rd ?
You are correct it's at SHAP. I looked up VIN numbers someone posted in another thread.
Window Sticker is showing now as well.

Oh well better than those sites showing nothing for last 8 months.

Funny part, I've been checking those sites with vin for last two months. I was going cancel it and order Rebel 2022 GT but I'd have wait another 6months

I'm guessing that is date they started it? But what is DT Tracking?

DT is the designation for a 5th Gen RAM. The Classic/4th Gen is DS.

Just means the tracking is for a 5th Gen.

Would be my guess

My best guess is that 392DevilDog is correct
DT = 5th Gen Body Style

I have to wonder about scheduling,
VIN numbers used to be posted when the vehicle is about to be built
Windows Stickers are printed when the vehicle is built, members in here have told us

The 6 numbers at the end of your VIN , represents the sequential number that your vehicle built, but that does not mean that the first Ram Rebel for 2022 was number 000001, it may have been 100001, or some other arbitral number

By the way, if i had your VIN , i believe that i can break down what it means
Each letter & number is a code for something on the Ram,
That is with the exception of the 9th digit, which is part of a mathematical equation

OK, it seems the 2022 Rams are already being built
They have already been displayed at the
Chicago Auto Show, which runs July 15-19.

So that could explain about the Window Sticker being released

After those things showed up, hour after each other. I emailed my dealer.
Told me they checked, and it's built. Should be shipped in next week or two.

As you mentioned. I've been reading everyone's post. they were getting vin and it would show up. Later the window sticker. I thought
dealer gave me wrong vin just get me stop bugging them

Dealer said the truck was likely built while ago, but they didn't have chips, so they didn't enter.
Could be just guessing. As long as I finally get it.

You mean that other site that lists all VIN details? I did that as soon as they gave it to me

I used to break it down by the individual digit, each digit has a certain meaning

your VIN

1C = Stelantis USA
6 = truck
S = hydraulic brakes weight class = 7001 - 8000 pounds

i could go through the whole VIN, but it would just show you what is noted below

NOTE for Position 11: Vehicles manufactured outside of the NAFTA region, as designated in position 11 of the VIN, 1 2 3 do not use a NAFTA Region WMI in positions 1 thru 3 of the VIN. 1 C 4 NOTE: Cannot use letters I, O, or Q for VIN Characters

Positions 5-7: Brand, Marketing Name, Drive Wheels, Cab/Body Type, Drive Position, and Trim Level

Position 9: Check Digit , Calculated from formula in Part 565

Position 10: Model Year

Positions 12-17: Plant Sequence Number

Still mind blowing how long yall are waiting for your trucks right now. What a mess this industry is right now with the shortages. I bought my new 2021 right before this all started in October of last year. Glad I pulled the trigger when I did.

I agree. Since Feb. and still waiting. Car companies are blaming it on covid and chips, but it's their own fault.
They cancelled the orders, then blamed the fire.

Thanks. I may be only a year younger, but reading the RAM manual is aging me quickly. The headachy part is all those “if so equipped” cracks that add about 200 useless pages to the book. Thanks to you, I can refer to what I actually have, not what I’m guessing at.
