I test drove a 2025 Rebel 1500 today.
Can anybody here tell me how Ram achieved the increased ride night in the rear?
Did they just put a spacer on stock 1500 springs?
I have set of cargo master springs on my Larimie, and wonder if it would be worth pulling them to put on the Rebel for better towing should I get one.
TIA

Check the specs, doesn't it have air suspension? Probably this plus bigger shocks as it is built more for off road use. Changing springs only changes some of the built in characteristics of why the Rebel is a Rebel (shocks, tires, etc.) and not a different trim, it could worsen the ride while not helping at all with towing. Can you tow with a Rebel, sure. But it will always be a different ride than with a truck built more for street use. You would have to look at door sticker for the specific truck you are looking at, but would guess the towing capacity of the Rebel takes a bit from the suspension work much like the Power Wagon does, so make sure it can work like you want it to because payload capacity is probably less than other non Rebels.

I so wanted a PW when I bought my 2500 but couldn't accept the almost 1k pound difference in payload capacity that I found between the two trucks I was considering. And you can't add parts to get that difference back, doesn't work that way.

Good Copy. I don't think this one had air suspension.
I had read something, somewhere about but having progressive springs.
I've pretty much written the rebel off as the payload per the door jam sticker was a bit over 900lbs...

Holy crap. Thats quite a bit less than my power wagon. The truck could be overloaded with just a cab full of people and nothing in the bed lol
