Getting ready to level my 14 Laramie with Bils set at 2.8. Looking for larger aggressive looking tire for my stock 20's. I do 90% hwy driving about 80-100 miles a day, so looking for something on the quieter side if possible. Also live in Chicago area so they need to be good in the snow as well. Don't want to break the bank as I will be buying new rims and tires next spring. Looking to go either 35 X 12.50 X 20 or 275 X 65 X 20.
Thanks in advance

Go to tirerack.com or discount tire and select the size you want. Then close your eyes and move the mouse around spastic-ally and then stop. Open your eyes and you should land on a good set. Really can't go wrong with a good name brand IMO.

LOL.....if only it was that easy.
I dont want to just pick a name brand and hate them due to noise. I totally understand going with a larger more aggressive looking tire will be louder than the stock tires. But hoping to get something that wont drive me bat **** due to noise. Had 35's on my Wrangler that were pretty quite, but for the life of me cant remember what brand they were.

To the OP, Im in the same situation. It sounds like you want an a/t tire like a bfg k02, duratrack, cooper at3, terra grapplers, etc. If you are wanting to save some coin stick with the stocokk size. Pretty big price gap between 275/65/20 and 35x12.5x30.

I have 35x12.50 cooper st maxx. I have about 7k on them and they are wearing great so far. They have a very slight hum very tolerable, and I drive 60 miles a day. I have also had duratracs and they were a awesome tire. I would have bought them again but they don't make a 35x12.50

Irok super swamper

LOL I see what your up too :roflsquared::roflsquared::roflsquared: I think...

Worst tire I have ever put on a vehicle.... not bad on the Jeep though , but still not great...

As for the OP any aggressive tread is going to be "noisy". The duratracs are a good suggestion

Toyo Open Country AT2. Great tire, decently aggressive look, great tread life rating, road hazard repair free. You can also get the extreme version which is the same pattern just more aggressive.

These tires have been great on my Ram. Torrential downpours doing highway speeds, I have never hydroplaned and I do 65-70ish. Haven't done snow much as winter was weak this year. Road noise is no worse then stock tires. All around I am very pleased.

KO2s are surprisingly quiet on the highway. Also very good for year-round, and winter-rated with the "Snowflake" symbol.

I have nothing bad to say about cooper discoverers A/T, been up the mountain with them on deep snow and they didn't even slip, better gas mileage that my old KOs and slightly more aggressive look to me

General grabber at2

Gave me enough bite to pull a semi out of an iced over dry dock last winter. (I was in 4 inches of snow)

Priced very well (ignore picture price)

I second these. I have a set of R/T's and really like them so far. I've heard nothing but good things on the AT's as well.

Also check out the new Nitto Ridge Grappler. They look nice. They are like the Toyo RT in terms of a cross between MT and AT.

Same here, love my AT3s. Great in the snow, no highway noise and a decent tread life. For some reason, pictures of the AT3s never really capture how aggressive they are in person.

I would say go with AT3s or Toyo AT2s in stock size. Can't go wrong with either.
